5. You are currently enrolled with NHIS.
6. You can access your account by entering the login details provided earlier

Students ( Voluntary contributors)

1. ( Purchase a voucher from a participating Health Maintenance Organization (HMO)³
2. Go to www.nhisonline.com.ng
3. Click on the top-right corner of the site on “ Voluntary Contributors”
4. Scroll down and click on the link for Registration
5. Fill out the form correctly with all necessary information
6. Provide your State and LGA area and choose the Health facilities closer to you, if none found, choose a nearby LGA area and nearby Health facilities.
7. In conclusion, you would be asked to select a payment method ( Remita)⁴ on page or enter voucher purchased.
8. After concluding the payment process, you will be enrolled on the NHIS.

Mobile Registration using USSD

1. Dial *616# from any mobile network (MTN,Airtel,Glo)
2. Follow the instructions on the Menu and fill the information from the list provided
3. By successful registration, you will get a text containing your personal e-ID
